"Skeptics at ease. I had a bathroom sink go from a slow drain to completely stopped over a few weeks. Pulled apart the P trap and cleared out all sorts of goodies, thinking that was it I put it back together. Sure enough, it was still plugged. I tried a snake but there's a tough angle in the pipe and it wouldn't budge. Put it all back together and plunged the drain. All this did was bring up dark stanky muddiness into the sink. Mostly due (I believe) to the old iron pipes, this is a 50 year old house. I started to imagine the plumber having to come out, all of our plumbing being shot, the bill at the end...ugh. So I started my research on what I may try next on HD's website. I wasn't ready to rent a monster auger just yet but saw the Kleer Drain and noticed a lot of reviews. I was skeptical however, all the reviews were great and I saw my own scenario resolved. So why not, I got one. Tried the plunger a few more times to no avail. Put the Kleer Drain together, I took out the drain stop and reversed the seal cup. It took 2 shots but on the 2nd I heard things moving in the pipes and when I pulled it away everything washed down. If the thing wasn't covered in funk water, I would have kissed it. If you've tried everything else, get one. As some have said, it's $25 before dropping a good chunk on a plumber, no brainer."
